Biltmore Mayfair

Our stay at The Biltmore Mayfair was sadly a very disappointing experience.

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the shampoo and conditioner bottles in our room had already been used and were completely empty. It made us wonder whether the room had actually been cleaned properly before our check-in. Unfortunately, that was the first bad sign.

We had to call housekeeping twice before replacement bottles were finally brought to our room. On top of that, there were only three towel sets, even though we had booked the room for four people. So once again, we had to call and request what should have already been provided.

The next day, no one came to clean our room at all. We had to call yet again just to get fresh towels. For a hotel that claims to be four-star, this level of service was very disappointing.

The facilities were also not well maintained. The pool area smelled unpleasant, almost moldy, and several ceiling lights were not working, making the already dark space feel even darker. My kids even joked that a ghost might appear because the atmosphere felt so gloomy.

The beds were another major letdown. They were extremely uncomfortable and felt very cheap. I honestly did not know beds like that were still used in a hotel like The Biltmore Mayfair. They reminded me of the kind of bed I had when I was a student, not something I would expect from a hotel of this standard.

Overall, there is no way this hotel deserves its rating. I have had much better experiences in three-star hotels. It is such a pity because the hotel building itself is beautiful, elegant, and full of charm. The Biltmore Mayfair has so much potential, but the poor housekeeping, lack of maintenance, and disappointing service completely ruined the experience.

This hotel could truly be a gem, but it urgently needs better management.
